This policy describes how Wera collects and processes data that you provide to us or that we collect via our website.

The Company is responsible for your personal data. All inquiries to the Company must be made through the contact information listed in section 7.

Wera is responsible for the data and it shall not be used for any purpose other than the performance of the contract with us. In cases where we use external data processors, responsibility for the data will be ensured through the data processor's own certification.

One of these examples of data management is Google Analytics v/Google Inc, established in the USA. Appropriate safeguards for the transfer of information to the US are ensured through the data processor's certification under EU-US privacy. A copy of the certification can be found here.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us at any time what information we have registered about you, what the purpose of the registration is, which categories of personal data, any recipients of information, as well as information about the origin of the data.

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal details we have stored about you. If you would like a copy of your personal data, please send a written request, together with identification that you are the person in question (copy of passport/driver's license etc.).

You have the right to correct errors in the personal data we have registered about you. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, please send us a written request with corrected information.


Right to delete

You have the right to have some or all of your personal data erased by us, for example if you withdraw your consent to our registrations. Deletion of personal data

If you do not use our website for a period of one year, we will automatically delete your personal data that we are not required by law to store for a longer period of time. Unless we have the right to continue processing, we will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent for us to store the information we have collected in connection with marketing by email, SMS and post to you.

We will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent for us to store the information we have collected in connection with your subscription to our newsletter. You have the opportunity to subscribe to or unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Upon unsubscribing, the data we have collected about you will automatically be deleted.

Safety and security

We have implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, altered or degraded, as well as from being disclosed to third parties or misused.
