This policy describes how Wera collects and processes data that you provide to us or that we collect through our website.
The Company is responsible for your personal data. All inquiries to the Company must be made through the contact information listed in section 7.

All this is done in order to optimize conversion on the website, improve it and do targeted marketing.
When you sign up for our newsletter, send us an inquiry via our contact form or register for one of our events via registration forms, you agree that we can collect information about you. Use of data processors
Wera is responsible for the data and it shall not be used for purposes other than the execution of the contract with us. In cases where we use external data processors, the responsibility for the data will be ensured through the data processor’s own certification.
One of these examples of data management is Google Analytics v/Google Inc, established in the USA. Appropriate safeguards for the transfer of information to the US are ensured through the data processor’s certification under EU-US privacy. A copy of the certification can be found here.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us at any time what information we have registered about you, what the purpose of the registration is, what categories of personal data, any recipients of information, as well as information about the origin of the data.
You have the right to receive a copy of the personal details we have stored about you. If you wish to receive a copy of your personal data, please send a written request, together with identification that you are the person in question (copy of passport/driver’s license etc.).
The right answer
You have the right to correct errors in the personal data that we have registered about you. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, please send us a written request with corrected information.
Right to delete
You have the right to have some or all of your personal data deleted by us, for example if you withdraw your consent to our registrations. To the extent that the processing of your information is necessary, for example to comply with our legal obligations, we are not obliged to delete the personal data.
The right to restrict processing for storage
In some cases, you also have the right to have your personal data restricted to storage only, for example if you believe that the information we have about you is not correct.
Right to data mobility
You have the right to have your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit this information when we collect your personal information in relation to:
- that you give your consent to use the IP address to determine your geographical location
- that you give your consent to sign up for the newsletter
- that you give your consent to sign up for activities and meetings
Right to object
You have the right at any time to object to our processing of your personal data that we collect to improve the usability of the website.
You have the right to object at any time to our processing of your personal data that we handle in connection with direct marketing. If you do not accept this processing, we no longer have the right to handle your personal information, unless we can show legitimate reasons to continue this.
Right to withdraw consent
You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to us using your IP address to determine your geographical location, consent to sign up for our newsletter or sign up for our meetings and activities. If you withdraw your consent, we may in some cases still be entitled to continue the processing. In such cases, you will be informed about it.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, P.O. Box 8177 Dep, 0152 Oslo about our processing of your personal data.
Deletion of personal information
If you do not use our website for a period of one year, we will automatically delete your personal data that we are not legally required to store for a longer period of time. Unless we have the right to continue processing, we will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent for us to store the information that we have collected in connection with marketing by e-mail, SMS and post to you.
We will delete your personal data if you withdraw your consent for us to store the information we have collected in connection with your subscription to our newsletter. You have the opportunity to subscribe or unsubscribe from our newsletter subscription at any time. Upon unsubscribing, the data we have collected about you is automatically deleted.
Safety and security
We have implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally or unlawfully destroyed, lost, altered or impaired, as well as from being disclosed to third parties or misused.
Only employees who have a direct need for this information in their work will have access to your personal data.
