Profile and prospectus for the new Trosvik Brygge
On the waterfront in historic Brevik, Admiralen will be built as the first phase of the Trosvik Brygge housing project. Our task was to create effective communication, a clear profile and an appealing prospectus that could convey the project's qualities and history to potential buyers.
Problem statement
How could we develop communication and a creative profile that both preserves Brevik’s rich maritime history and at the same time clearly conveys the project’s modern qualities and attractive location?
Profiles
The profile we developed for Trosvik Brygge is based on maritime color schemes and a modern typography. The main colors are taken from the sea and the surroundings of Brevik – shades of blue combined with beige and dark beige for detail and support. The symbol in the logo illustrates Brevik as a seafaring town through a stylized form of sail, emphasizing the project’s proximity and connection to the sea.

In collaboration with Heimgard Bolig, we chose to divide the communication around the project into three construction stages, each with its own historical theme from different eras in Brevik’s history:
The Admiral: First stage of construction, named after sea hero Cort Adeler from Brevik.
The watchman: The second stage of construction, inspired by the guard service established after the great city fire in 1761 to ensure peace, order and fire protection.
Hollenderen: The third stage of construction, named after the Dutch timber merchants who left their mark on Brevik in the 17th and 18th centuries.
