WERA is collaborating with Nome municipality on communication services for the Fens process. As part of this, we have developed a graphic profile and delivered printed matter for Fensensdagene - an event that aims to increase local awareness of and commitment to the Fens field and its potential.
For the Fens days, we developed a visual identity inspired by the area's unique geology and local culture. The logo was named "Fensrosa".
The hexagon represents the mineral itself, while the surrounding elements symbolize the diversity of valuable minerals – and the exciting opportunities that will grow from the mineral in the middle. Together they form a symbol of how Nome municipality can flourish and grow with the opportunities from the Fens field, hence Fensrosa.
The main colors include various shades of green that reflect nature and growth. And of course, we’ve made sure the graphic profile is flexible – so it works just as well on a roll-up as on a brochure.
We have also delivered a number of printed materials such as roll-ups, ID cards, programs and banners for use during the Festival.
The printed matter was designed to ensure a consistent visual expression throughout the event. Roll-ups and banners were used strategically both indoors and outdoors to create visibility and recognition.
All printed materials were designed to highlight Fensdagene as a professional and engaging meeting place.
During Fensdagen, a podcast was produced called "Fensfeltet - Under the surface". The podcast brought together key names such as MP Mahmoud Farahmand (H), county deputy mayor Terje Riis Johansen (SP), chief geologist Trond Watne from Rare Earth Norway, and sustainability manager at NHO, Trygve Ulseth.
Through episodes covering everything from sustainable mining and local business development to national politics and environmental concerns, the podcast gives listeners a deeper understanding of the importance of the Fens field. WERA was responsible for concept development, production and distribution, with a focus on creating an engaging and professional format that reaches a wide audience. It can be seen and heard on Spotify and YouTube.
The Fens days are held every year in Nome municipality and aim to increase local awareness of the Fens field and all its possibilities. The event brings together both locals and visitors to learn more about the Fens process, and to discuss how the area can be developed and utilized.
The Fens Process is about exploring the potential of the Fens Field, a unique geological area in Ulefoss that contains several rare rocks and minerals, and how it can contribute to local growth and new jobs. WERA works closely with Nome municipality to strengthen communication around the Fens Process, and assists with various communication initiatives to increase local interest, affinity and ensure good information flow.
